A large portion of the Bruce Trail runs through Conservation Areas. As a benefit of membership, Bruce Trail Association members are granted free access to certain conservation areas. This allows members to access the Bruce Trail for hiking only (no biking, skiing etc.). Use of any other facilities such as visitor centres requires fee payment. Free admission does not apply to all conservation areas on the escarpment. Also free access only includes the person named on the membership card and not any other family members or friends. Leave your valid BTA membership card on your dashboard of your car or suv or truck or show it at the entrance.

BTA members are not charged to access the Bruce Trail at these conservation areas:

Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area

Crawford Lake Conservation Area
(does not include the Visitors Centre
or the Longhouse)

Hilton Falls Conservation Area

Dundas Valley Conservation Area

Belfountain Conservation Area

Terra Cotta Conservation Area

Mount Nemo

The Credit Valley Conservation Authority is a major landowner and supporter of The Bruce Trail in The Toronto and Caledon Sections. The Black and Silver Creek Side-Trails, the Main Trail through Hole-in-The Wall, Walking Fern, Credit Valley and Terra Cotta Trails all use Credit Valley Conservation Authority Lands. In addition, Bruce Trail members are granted free access to The Bruce Trail in CVCA parks at Belfountain , Terra Cotta and Ken Whillan on Hwy 10 (Show your card or leave on dashboard).
