L14 - Forks of the Credit Provincial Park

From Toronto follow HWY 401 West until HWY 410 (interchange 46) –about 5.8 km west of 427 (watch signs carefully!!!!)Take HWY 410 North for 27 km. Note that 410 changes names as it loses lanes. It becomes Heart Lake Rd. In the 70 km/h section be wary of radar traps. When you arrive at the Old Baseline Road, turn left (west) and proceed for 2.6 km until you reach HWY 10. Turn right (north) onto HWY 10 and proceed North. Turn left onto the Forks of the Credit Road. At McLaren Road turn right and follow McLaren Road to the Forks of the Credit PP entrance on your left. There are two parking lots and a parking lot ticket dispenser that takes credit cards. Unfortunately the parking fee is way out of line with other area parks at $8.50 per car. If you decide to park elsewhere be aware that the Caledon area is heavily patrolled and ticketed. Such is Caledon where former free parking areas on McLaren have been posted No Parking at the insistence of area residents.
