Discover Our Shared Path
Here is your chance to witness history in the making.

Mark Saturday, June 11 on your calendar as the launch date for Toronto’s newest
Discovery Walk, The Shared Path/Le Sentier Partagé.

The Discovery Walk proceeds through a series of park areas along the banks of the Humber River, south of Dundas Street West to the mouth of the river.

The development of the Shared Path/Le Sentier Partagé Discovery Walk was spearheaded through a partnership between La Société d’histoire de Toronto, The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and the City of Toronto.

The trail connects an ancient Aboriginal portage route to modern roads and railways, First Nation settlements to 18th century French trading posts, and the ruins of water-powered mills to the birth of industrial Toronto.
