Felker's Falls Update 30 Mar 2011

Work has begun by the City of Hamilton on Phase 1 of their new East Mountain Loop trail from Felker's Falls to Albion Road. The initial work is at Felker's Falls and to the west of this Falls. Due to the nature of the work, occasional temporary closing of the main Trail and the Felker's Falls C.A. will occur from time to time depending on the type of work being carried out. The work is scheduled to be completed by May 24th.

Due to the temporary nature of the trail closures and the completion date of May 24th. there is no reroute around the area. Hikers should follow all temporary signage erected at the work area.

This affects hike L50F Albion Falls to Devil's Punch Bowl as well as visits to Felkers Falls itself.
