Cheltenham Badlands reopens

IMG 6464s

The Cheltenham badlands has now been reopened to the public as of late September this year. The unique and beautiful property in the Caledon Hills area has been closed since 2015 and hikers will welcome this news.

The Ontario Heritage Trust, Credit Valley Conservation, the Town of Caledon, the Region of Peel and Bruce Trail Conservancy have conducted conservation work and site improvements to enhance the visitor experience and preservation of the site.

New features onsite, include an accessible boardwalk, upgraded trails, educational and interpretive panels, and public and accessible parking spaces located at 1739 Olde Baseline Road.

Remember to stay off the Badlands feature. Please use the trails, boardwalks and viewing platform provided.
